Join the traveling library as they celebrate the beginning of their Oceans of Possibilities Summer Learning Program on Saturday, June 11th! The Summer Learning Sail-off will take place in the parking lot of the County Library on Sawmill Road (near Lightstreet) from 10 AM - 2 PM.
This FREE fun-filled family event will feature story times in the Sensory Tent with Hand in Hand Family Resource Center, meet and greet with a live mermaid, crafts with the Art Cart and pot painting with Jessie's Creations, snacks, an inflatable slide, face painting, a coloring activity with the Columbia County Conservation District, ocean-themed games and activities, and much, much more!
The first 100 children to visit the registration table will receive a FREE book and goodie bag from the library courtesy of the Dollar General Literacy Foundation Summer Reading Grant, AND a FREE STEM kit compliments of our friends at the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum. Did I mention FREE? Additionally, children that complete the “I SPY” activity will be able to pick a prize from the treasure chest.
Additional vendors include Unlost Treasures Bows, Jessie’s Creations, Just One Crafty Momma, and Scentsy.
